Life-saving addition to Peterborough directories app

The collaborators behind the Peterborough-based Business Finder Directory App have added a potentially life-saving feature to their product.

Ascot Graphics, designers and publishers of The Business Finder Directories, and developers Robin Road, have included a new option that allows users to quickly find a heart defibrillator (AED) near to them in an emergency.

Michael Shuster of Robin Road said: “Each defibrillator entry has location details, a photograph of the AED location on the premises, and contact information if there is a nominated responsible person.”

Woodston Councillor Andy Coles said: “I commend the team for starting this work and encourage any workplace or other location where there is a public defibrillator in the city to get in touch with them to make sure it is also listed.”
