Scores of Peterborough Telegraph readers have taken the opportunity say who they think has gone the extra mile and really made a difference across the city.
Our photos show just a selection of the people that have been named as deserving of an accolade for their contribution to the community.
The search for the top 100 Peterborough people who have made a difference to the city has been launched by Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce.
The aim is to shine a spotlight on the individuals whose ambition, resilience and leadership help drive the city forward.
Nominees can be individuals from businesses, community organisations or civic life whose work makes a positive difference to Peterborough and the wider region.
It is part of the business organisation’s year-long programme of events marking 100 years of the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce.
They will culminate in a prestigious presentation night at the chamber’s Centenary Dinner on September 24.
