Peterborough Cathedral hosted an array of big-screen vehicles, stage shows and fun-loving fans of cosplay over the weekend when The Immortal Feel the Force Day came to town on Saturday, September 5.
The not-for-profit event is a celebration of film, TV, sci-fi, fantasy and popular culture, with a strong focus on inclusion, accessibility and community spirit.
Growing steadily over the years, Feel the Force Day has built a reputation for being friendly and accessible to people with disabilities and additional needs, offering quiet spaces, supportive volunteers and a relaxed approach that helps families attend with confidence.
Run by volunteers and supported by local partners, the event played out beneath clear blue skies as fans, families and charities joined together to enjoy a full day of fun that makes memorable experiences available to everyone.
Along with costumed characters and celebrity guests, visitors were treated to themed displays, interactive activities, traders, collectables, games and live entertainment all throughout the day. Many of those attending got into the spirit of things by dressing as their own favourite characters, thereby helping to create a welcoming and immersive atmosphere for all ages.
