Gallery: Youngsters in Peterborough support Children in Need

Pupils across school in Peterborough have been supporting Children in Need with amazing funky costumes, Pudsey arts and crafts as well as staying active following in Joe Wicks’ footsteps.

With many schools dressing up in non-uniform, pupils were invited to donate money and go along with a spotty theme!

While pupils at Old Fletton Primary School put on their PE kits for the day as the whole school took part in Joe Wick’s PE challenge and pupils at Dogsthorpe Academy wore their best pyjamas.

Taking part in fun activities pupils at Barnack primary school held a virtual duck race and children in Castor CE primary school finger-painted masterpieces to create their own polkadot yellow Pudsey ears.

Pupils dressed up in their brightest yellow outfits at Woodston primary school and Paston Ridings School.

Children In Need Day raises money every year for children and young people in the UK.

Through donations the BBC charity is able to help support 3,900 charities and projects supporting children affected by a range of disadvantages including: poverty, disability, illness or trauma.
