The railway has been closed since March, but is now planning to re-open next month with runs on its popular Thomas services.
A spokesman said: “Subject to government restrictions the NVR is planning to open and run trains from 25th July. We are closely monitoring the government advice and we are planning to open for some Thomas trips through the tunnel to Yarwell and return from Wansford only on the weekend of 25th and 26th July and the 1st and 2nd of August. Tickets will be pre purchase only in allocated seating around social distancing guidelines.
“We will be operating a one way system at Wansford with hand sanitising stations and limited toilets.”
