Flats plan above Peterborough hair salon

An application has been submitted by Wisdom Property Developments Limited for Fleet Villas at 24-26 Fitzwilliam Street.

The proposal is to convert part of the ground floor and the first and second floors into six, one bedroom flats, with a living room, kitchen area and separate bathrooms.

The front sections of the ground floor would be retained for retail use as two separate units.

The ground floor of number 24, and part of number 26, was previously used as a funeral parlour by Watkins and Stafford Ltd, while the ground floor of number 26 and both first floors are being used by Beauty Concepts by Taz.

The application will now be considered by the council’s planning department.
