Fitting memorial for a legend of Peterborough's music scene

Some of Peterborough’s best known bands and musicians took to the stage in tribute to ‘local legend’ Chris Allen who passed away in March.

The Cresset was packed on Saturday for the Chris Allen Memorial Concert, raising more than £10,000 for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The line up included Alfie Allen, Ian Graham, The Motivators, The Gobblinz (one of Chris' biggest bands from the 70s), 0898, Citizen Smith and Brotherhoods Roundabout.

An image of Chris was projected on screen during performances.
