Coronavirus: Peterborough residents urged to join national round of applause to thank and celebrate NHS workers
Peterborough residents are being urged to show their appreciation to the NHS tonight with a huge round of applause.
At 8pm residents are encouraged to open their doors, windows and go onto balconies and clap and cheer for the NHS staff who are working incredibly hard to help the thousands of people who have been diagnosed with coronavirus.
Similar initiatives have taken place across the world, and helped unite residents during lockdown conditions.
