The fair ran last weekend at the Fair Meadow Car Park on Oundle Road, and had been scheduled to re-open tonight (Thursday), and run until Sunday. It was also scheduled to take place next weekend.

However, this afternoon work has begun to dismantle the rides and move on from the car park.

St George’s Hydrotherapy Pool has also confirmed it will be closed throughout the rest of March and April.

In a tweet, a spokesperson said: “Owing to COVID-19 coronavirus, St George’s Community Hydrotherapy Pool will be closed from today until 1st June. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. The St George’s team looks forward to welcoming you back just as soon as this is possible.”
