Coronavirus: Government policies ‘discriminate’ against the elderly - LETTER

I am a relatively fit woman constituent of retirement age and I go to a gym and swim approximately two miles over a week. I am a walk leader at Ferry Meadows for an hour and a half on Monday mornings.

I do not want to be punished for going for walks in the FRESH air. We do not hug or kiss other group members, wear gloves and do not walk in a big clump, we straggle out.

These government suggestions for policies are ageist and discriminate against people just because of their age. I think it is healthy to have fresh air and a healthy fruit and veg, dominated diet.

I hope someone wil fight for me and other fit, active people no matter what age.
