Coronavirus: 32 Covid-19 patients die in single week at hospitals run by Peterborough health trust

Five more patients with Covid-19 have died at hospitals run by the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.

The daily totals released by NHS England show the number of patients with the virus to have died at either Peterborough City Hospital or Hinchinbrooke Hospital has reached 107.

This includes 32 in the past week.

Across the UK, 586 people with coronavirus have died in hospital in the past 24 hours.

The number of patients in Peterborough to have tested positive for the virus has increased by 27 to 216.

The figure is 703 in Cambridgeshire, 804 in Lincolnshire and 1,008 in Northamptonshire.
