Jessica Morris, who is assistant leader with the 25th Werrington Guides and works for an insurance company, joined the celebration at the House of Commons where she was given the award by Chief Guide Gill Slocombe, Girlguiding’s most senior volunteer.

Jessica (28) took 18 months to complete the tough Queen’s Guide Award, a personal collection of challenges which must be completed before a woman turns 26.
