The car parks at the parks closed for a period during the first lockdown due to large crowds gathering.
But today a spokesman for Nene Park Trust said: " Following the Government’s latest announcement about the new national lockdown starting on Thursday 5 November we would like to clarify what is happening to our services at Nene Park.

"Unfortunately, Nene Outdoors Watersports and Activity Centre will close to the public for the duration of the lockdown with only our school bookings continuing throughout November. Future bookings for corporate and education groups can still be made so do get in touch with the Nene Outdoors team to discuss any requirements at [email protected]
"The Visitor Centre & Gift Shop in Ferry Meadows will also close from Thursday 5 November. However, you are now able to shop for many of our Visitor Centre products and gifts online at www.nenepark.org.uk/shop so do take a look online to tick off some of your Christmas shopping list.
"Both cafes in Ferry Meadows will be offering a takeaway service but please note that there will be no indoor or outdoor seating available.
