The hit BBC One show was present at the Festival of Antiques, held at the East of England Arena, at the start of the month and will be using Rory Cowley’s auction house to sell the contestant’s purchases on Sunday October 25.
Four episodes will be filmed at the auction house in Fengate, which comes as a welcome boost with Rory only holding his debut event on June 28, after the original launch was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.
Celebrity auctioneer David Palmer brought the hammer down that day and will do so again in front of the television cameras.
Rory said: “I want to create a fun atmosphere for all. We have all the exciting ingredients of old, new, retro, antique and collectibles - there’s something for everybody.
“It’s been both exciting and daunting trying to navigate through the barriers of Covid-19, it also has been challenging to say the least.
“I personally sought out David Palmer. It took a bit of time, but I got there. He brings a great sense of fun and humour to the bidding.”
The presenter will be Natasha Raskin Sharp, with experts Charles Hanson and David Harper on hand to help to try and help their respective teams with their bonus buy. They will, however, not be present in the room and will instead be watching an a big screen due the BBC’s Covid-19 precautions.
Members of the public are allowed into the sale, which takes place at 11am. 30 spaces are available but those wishing to attend are advised to call 07521 037343 in advance to book. There is space outside for people to sit should they feel more comfortable by doing so.
Rory will also be using the day to give back to charity as all lotting fees and commission made on the items will be donated to Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice.
He said: “The call just came out of the blue, it’s an amazing opportunity for our business and good to be noticed. We are so grateful for the opportunity and the recognition from such a long-running british institution.
“People are welcome to attend and should bring their change with them if they want to see a bit of history and buy some antiques on the TV. Anything we make will be given to charity.”

“The funds raised will help us continue to be there when it matters for local families needing our expert palliative care and bereavement support.
“Our hospice is facing a funding gap of £1.6 million this financial year due to the cancellation of our fundraising events, no clear indication of how long it will take our charity shops to return to normal trading levels, and the additional cost of purchasing PPE for our doctors and nurses.
“We are really grateful for your kind support, which will help us to be there for people in the local community at the most difficult time of their lives.”
