Arts Council England gives £995k emergency funding to more than 111 individuals and organisations across Cambridgeshire

More than 111 individuals and independent organisations across the county have been given £995,994 to support them during the coronavirus pandemic.

The funding - from the The Arts Council's emergency response package - will alleviate the immediate pressures faced by artists, creative practitioners, museums, and libraries over the summer.

Among the recipients are:

*Nene Park Trust, which has been awarded £34,924

*Peterborough New Theatre, which has received £35,000

*Wisbech and Fenland Museum, which has been awarded £16,121

*Wisbech Projects CIC, which has received £16,563.

*Jumped Up Theatre, which has been awarded £14,619

*Lamphouse Theatre, which has received £10,080

*Whittlesey Museum, which has received £1,500
