5. Richard Paten
The reverend was well known to many Peterborians as the founder of Nene Valley Railway and Railworld. He was made a freeman of the city in 2008, but died in 2012
6. Ernie Wise
One half of arguably Britains greatest ever comedy act, he lived for many years in Thorpe Avenue, off Thorpe Road
7. Frank Perkins
The co-founder of the Peterborough's major engineering company Perkins which has employed countless people in the city
