Cross Keys Homes, based in Shrewsbury Avenue, Woodston, has been ranked 44th in the Inside Housing Top 50 Biggest Builders.

It comes after the association completed 372 homes on development sites in Peterborough, the East of England and in the Home Counties across 2019/20.

Of the total homes built, 187 were for affordable rent and 164 were for shared ownership.

It is the fourth year running the association has featured in the illustrious rankings.

Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: “If the recent pandemic has taught us anything, it is the importance of the need for great housing for all.

“At CKH we know how important good quality homes are, for individuals, families and communities, but lockdown has really highlighted this to everyone.

She added: “I am determined that as an organisation we will keep building affordable homes, both for rent and to enable people to access affordable home ownership, no matter what the challenges we face. Featuring in this prestigious ranking is a great indication that we are doing all we can to build the housing that people need.”

Three months ago, the association, which manages about 10,000 properties, retained its A+ rating for its financial management from the credit rating agency Standard and Poor’s Global Ratings (S&P). S&P has also kept its A+ rating on the £250 million bond which Cross Keys issued six years ago to help build more homes.
