1. Central Park
Visiting Central Park, especially in the Autumn to collect conkers. You had to be finished whatever you were doing by 8pm when the park superintendent would ring his bell for closing time. Photo: David Lowndes
2. Fairway's
For birthdays and Christmas it was a trip to the biggest toy shop in the City - Fairway's on Broadway. There was also Robertson's on Cowgate if you wanted a bike. Photo: UGC
3. Fishing at the Embankment
