The Peterborough Telegraph is shining a spotlight on animals near Peterborough in need of a home.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) are responsible for rescuing, nurturing and subsequently rehoming a whole host of pets in and around Peterborough.

9. Doris
Doris is a 10-year-old (approx) Jack Russell Terrier who is full of character. She really has had her life turned upside down. Please note that we are only considering highly experienced people for Doris. Only people with lots of dog behaviour experience will be considered for adoption as she has some big behaviour issues which will need to be managed within the home. 10. Bruno
Bruno is a three-year-old (approx) Cocker Spaniel crossbreed. This handsome boy came into our care after he was seized by the police along with multiple other dogs. The conditions the dogs were living in were pretty awful. We have no idea how long they had been living like this nor do we have any history to say whether or not they have ever lived in a home environment. Bruno is athletic and active with bags of energy. He's a lot of fun! On walks his nose is constantly working and he's really responsive to training.
