Hide AdSteve’s first task has been to oversee the development and implementation of a new strategy, which will take the charity forward towards their centenary and beyond.
“I am delighted to have joined Deafblind UK at a particularly exciting time in the charity’s 90 year history. Our new strategy clearly sets out our direction of travel for the next 5 years, which will see us supporting more people living with combined sight and hearing loss across the UK.”
Before joining Deafblind UK, Steve was in the Royal Marines for 26 years, before joining NHS Scotland in 2002. In 2011, he became Chief Executive of Erskine, a large charity that provides care to armed forces veterans in Scotland.
