March for Men to raise cash

The March for Men will take place at Ferry Meadows in the city on Sunday, October 7, and will raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

The event gives participants the choice of either a 2.5km or 5km walk through the park.

Similar events have been held across the country, but this is the first time it has taken place in Peterborough.

Registration on the day starts at 10am, with the walk itself starting at 11am.

Along with a walk, there will also be a raffle on the day, with prizes including a laptop from Mutual, meals out from Middletons, Bill’s, Gourmet Bus, hypnotherapy sessions from Chalice Hypnotherapy and The Hypnotherapy Hub, and an escape room experience from Trapp’d .

It costs £10 to take part, and participants will receive a medal and a t-shirt.
