Marathon trek between branches

Staff at a Peterborough bank went the extra mile to raise money on a marathon charity walk.

The team from Lloyds Bank in Peterborough walked from Stamford back to the Westgate branch as part of a company-wide campaign to raise money for Mental Health UK.

Perry Wright, Julie Ellis, Neil Thompson and Sarah Baxter all completed the walk - and were welcomed back to the Peterborough branch with a much needed cup of tea and slice of cake.

Along with raising money, the firm has been aiming to promote awareness of mental health, to foster an environment where colleagues and customers can open up about mental health. They have raised more than £1.7 million so far this year for Mental Health UK
