Man taken to hospital after crash in Stanground

The emergency services were called out shortly before 2pm on Sunday to the two car collision in Whittlesey Road.

Firefighters from the Dogsthorpe and Stanground stations released one person from one of the cars who was then taken to hospital.

A police spokeswoman said he suffered minor injuries.

Officers at the scene assisted with traffic control and the recovery of the vehicles.
