Man remains seriously injured in hospital following A47 crash near Peterborough

A man remains in a serious condition in hospital following a crash on the A47 near Peterborough yesterday.

The collision, which happened at about 12.30pm yesterday (28 January), involved two HGVs and a car.

Paramedics and fire crews also attended the scene.

Today a Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: "A man in his 30s was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, where he remains today (29 January)."

The road remained shut until 7.15pm last night while emergency services worked at the scene.
