Man and woman seriously injured in crash on A1 at Peterborough
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man and a woman were seriously injured in a crash on the A1 at Wittering on Saturday.

At just after 8.30pm, a white Vauxhall Insignia was travelling southbound on the A1 when it left the road and hit a tree.
The driver, a woman in her 30s from Stamford, and a passenger, a man in his 30s from Peterborough, were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge where they both remain in a serious but stable condition.
Anyone who saw the crash or vehicle leading up to it, or who has dash cam footage, is urged to contact police via the online web chat or by calling 101, quoting incident number 501 of 8 May.
