Main road between Peterborough and Whittlesey shut after crash

The main road between Peterborough and Whittlesey has been shut following a crash.

The incident happened on Toll Road near the McCain Factory this afternoon.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at about 1.45pm to a collision between a lorry and an Audi car at the B1040 junction of the A605

“There appears to be no serious injury but the road is blocked and has been closed.”
