Lorry driver seriously injured in crash which closed road near Peterborough
A lorry driver has suffered ‘potentially life changing injuries’ in a collision near Peterborough.
Emergency services were called to the A16 near Crowland at about 9.10am today following a single vehicle collision involving a lorry.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire police said; “This collision happened at the junction with the B1166. The driver, a man, is thought to have sustained a serious and potentially life changing injury.”
The A16 remains closed at the scene of the collision.
