London Road in Peterborough closed by serious accident

Police have closed London Road in Peterborough after the junction with Fletton High Street following a serious collision.

Police, ambulance and fire crews are at the scene and a road closure sign has been put in place on London Road south of the junction with traffic diverted along Fletton High Street.

Police told the Peterborough Telegraph: “We were called at 10.45am today (December 17) to reports of a collision involving a car and a parked lorry trailer on London Road, Peterborough.

“Officers are currently on scene and the road has been closed.”
