Last chance to buy discounted tickets to great charity evening organised by courageous Peterborough teenager

Hannah Thompson (15), from Foster Road, Sugar Way, has organised an exciting charity night with live entertainment and bands on across the night. The event is at The Fleet, Fletton, on Friday, August 31 from 7pm onwards.

The night is raising money for four worthy charities: Macmillan Cancer, Alzheimer’s’ Society, Lewis Jaynes Battens Disease Fund and Peterborough’s own Amazon Children’s Ward at Peterborough City Hospital.

Tickets have been largely discounted to only £5 for what looks to be a phenomenal night out. Acts for the evening include: Idolising Nova, Caustic Lights, Tom Korni and DJ Michael Dean - The Box Disco. Tickets are on sale now.

Hannah has amassed such a large amount of support for her inspirational actions. Caustic Lights said: “As a young band Caustic Lights always like to help out as much as possible with charity throughout the community. We believe what Hannah is doing is something incredibly remarkable for someone her age, we thoroughly support her and can’t wait to bring smiles to people’s faces.”

Tom Korni said: “When I was asked to perform at Hannah’s Charity Entertainment Evening I was more than happy to support her and the charities she’s raising money for.

“At Hannah’s age it’s amazing she’s taken the initiative to help others. I’m looking forward to performing on August 31 and raising as much money as possible for these worthwhile causes.”

Hannah has also received support from Pino Soccio and the Peterborough Young Technicians who will be providing light and sound on the night as well as assisting in technical support.
