Identity of teen motorcyclist killed in Stamford crash is revealed by police

The identity of a 17-year-old killed in a motorcycle crash in Stamford last week has been revealed by police.

James Lovett, from the Stamford area, died after his black Yamaha 125cc motorcycle was involved in a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A1175 Uffington Road, at around 9.20pm on Monday, June 20.

Despite efforts at the scene to give CPR, he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Floral tributes from friends and family members have been left near to the Hindmarch Stamford Peugeot accident repair centre.

James was the 26th person to be killed on Lincolnshire’s roads this year.
