Hut at Peterborough football ground deliberately set on fire

A hut on the side of a football ground was deliberately set on fire, according to Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A crew from Dogsthorpe was called out to St Bees Drive, Eye, on Saturday at 6.42pm.

A fire service spokesperson said: “The crew arrived to find a fire in a hut on the side of a football ground.

“The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
