Homes cordoned off following sudden death in Peterborough

The neighbouring properties in Gladstone Street have a police guard outside them following the incident earlier this afternoon.

A police spokesman said: “Police were called today (12 August) at 12.12pm to a property in Gladstone Street, Millfield with reports of a sudden death.

“Officers attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”

Police said Gladstone Street had been closed earlier today, but the road has now been opened again.
