Fun day will benefit playgroup and children's ward

The Village Playgroup in Church Street, Werrington, and the Amazon Children's Ward at Peterborough City Hospital will benefit from a fun day to be held at Serpentine Green shopping centre in Hampton on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2.

For the children there will be a bouncy castle and inflatable playzone for under-5s, soft play, face painting, arts and crafts and appearances from princesses and superheroes.

And to keep the grown ups happy there will be hair and make-up styling, vision racer and photo booth plus craft stalls.

Tickets are on sale - and can be purchased on the day - for a raffle, with prizes including holiday accommodation, a microlight flight and a Mercedes car for the weekend. This is non-profit event, sponsored by Mercedes Benz Peterborough, Lincs VW Commercial Sales Ltd and Sillwood Electrical Services Ltd, with all proceeds going to the two causes. It will run from 11am to 3pm.
