The warning has been put in place this morning, and has led to the closure of the North Bank Road..

The warning says: "Heavy rain has been falling on the River Nene catchment over the past 3 days. During periods of high tide the river will be unable to discharge into the sea, resulting in tide lock conditions. This is likely to lead to localised flooding at North Bank Road from the morning on Tuesday 15/12/2020 onwards. Whilst the Flood Warning is in force, the Local Authority will close North Bank Road."
