Fire crews at serious house fire

The fire, in Weston Hills, Lincolnshire started in a commercial garage at around 7.30am today.
At the blaze’s peak, seven fire crews were tackling the flames. The building has been severely damaged in the incident, and a number of crews are still at the scene.

Hide AdA spokeswoman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were called at 07.34 to a commercial garage and 2 storey domestic property on Broad gate in Weston Hills. Initially both crews attended from Spalding, along with crews from Holbeach, Kirton, Crowland, Donington and Market Deeping. The fire is in the ground floor of the garage and crews are using two main jets, two hose reels and breathing apparatus to tackle this. The incident has now been scaled down and three crews remain in attendance.”
