Family pampered as they recover from blaze
A charity pampering event was held for a mother and her eight children who lost all their belongings in a house fire.
Mandi Rennie was joined by her family for the event at the Parkway Sports And Social Club in Maskew Avenue last Friday evening.
A number of stalls were set up for visitors and the band Little White Lies also performed.
Mandi, who had fled the fire in Brynmore, Bretton last month with three of her children, has now found new accommodation in Orton Malborne.
The blaze started after an incense stick set fire to the lounge.
