“If you’ve booked a bulky waste collection please leave your items out for collection on your allotted collection day – these will be picked up ASAP.”

Moreover, bin collections in the rural areas of Wansford, Wothorpe, Sutton, Upton, Thornhaugh and farms around them were not carried out on Tuesday due to the staff absences.

Those are expected to take place today.

Aragon added: “We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause.”
