Changes to Peterborough brown bin collections announced as a number of bin men continue to self isolate

Earlier this week the council announced this week’s collection of garden waste would not take place this week, with collections returning as normal next week.

But today, they have confirmed this week’s collections will now take place next week, rather than being cancelled completely, with all furture week’s collections also taking place a week later.

A spokesman said; “We have listened to feedback from the public and rather than cancel this weeks service completely we have moved it to next week which means all future garden waste collections across the city will also be done a week later than usual.”
