Peterborough Sainsbury's evacuated following 'hoax' bomb scare
Sainsbury’s in Bretton Centre has been evacuated on Saturday evening (November 29) due to a hoax bomb call.
Shoppers and everyone inside the store were evacuated at shortly after 7:10pm with police tape being placed at the entrance to the store.
Cambridgeshire Police attended the scene but have now confirmed that the incident, which has been reported as a bomb scare, was a hoax and that there is no reason for concern.
