Family of Spalding teenager killed in collision speak of 'unimaginable pain' as they pay emotional tributes
The family of a teenager killed in a collision have spoken of their ‘unimaginable pain’ as try to come to terms with their loss.
Morgan James Robert Swann, 19, from Spalding, who was killed in a collision on the A14 in Horningsea, Cambridgeshire on April 22.

Hide AdThe collision involved multiple vehicles, and saw Morgan, suffer fatal injuries, and three other people in the same car suffer serious injuries.


The driver of a lorry, a 38-year-old man from Cambridge, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving
Following the heartbreaking news, Morgan’s family released a tribute to him. They said: “Our beautiful son was taken from us at the tender age of 19.
“He is utterly adored by his parents Mark and Sonia, his three sisters Georgia, Ellie and Scarlett, as well as grandparents, uncles, auntie, cousins and godparents, and so loved by his many, many friends.

Hide Ad“Morgan had passed all his interviews and assessments to secure a place at Britannia Royal Naval College as a Cadet Officer and follow a career as a submariner. He was awaiting a start date to pursue his dream. We are so proud of him.
“Our world will never be the same and we request privacy as we try to come to terms with the unimaginable pain of our loss.”
Police, fire and the ambulance service were called at about 9.25pm on April 22 with reports of a collision involving multiple vehicles on the eastbound carriageway of the A14.
The road was closed for several hours while the emergency services worked at the scene.
The lorry driver has now been released on bail.

Hide AdPolice are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the vehicles in the moments leading up to the incident. They would also like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time with dash cam footage.
