Body found in search for missing Bourne man
Police have said they have found a body in the search for a man who went missing from his home in Bourne.
Lincolnshire Police said the body of a man has sadly been discovered in the South Forty Foot Drain in Dowsby Fen.
A spokesperson for the force said: “While formal identification has yet to take place, we believe this to be the body of 75-year-old David, who was last seen at his address in Bourne at around 10:15 pm on Sunday (15 March.)
“His family have been made aware and are being supported by specially trained officers. We are investigating the exact circumstances surrounding his death.
“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and those who contacted us to share information.”
