Delays on railways around Peterborough after person hit by train

There are delays on railway services around Peterborough this afternoon after a person was hit by a train.

The emergency services are dealing with the incident on the line between Peterborough and Ely.

Train services between Ipswich and Peterborough will be revised to start / terminate at Ely .

Replacement buses have been requested to operate between Ely And Peterborough.

Disruption is expected to last a number of hours.
