Woman seriously hurt in hospital after assault in Peterborough street - three arrested for GBH

Cambridgeshire police were called at 9.41pm on Friday to Cromwell Road, Millfield, with reports of violence.
Three people have now been arrested.
A police spokeswoman said: “Officers arrived on scene where they discovered a woman in her 60s had suffered serious injuries. The woman was taken to hospital where she remains.

Hide Ad“Three people have been arrested. A 69-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm (GBH).
“A 66-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of common assault and assault occasioning grievous bodily harm (GBH).
“A 33-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm (GBH) and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH).
“All three have been released on bail until March 5.”
The spokeswoman said no weapons were involved in the assault.
