Woman charged with assaulting police officer in Peterborough

A woman from Lincolnshire has been charged with assaulting a police officer in Peterborough this weekend.

Shannon Ansell (24) of Cornwall Way, Sleaford, was arrested on Saturday night following an assault in Princes Street.

She has been charged with assaulting occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) and has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on June 25.
