Warning after spate of thefts from vehicles in Peterborough
and live on Freeview channel 276
Police have received reports of thieves targeting cars in Sugar Way, Dogsthorpe, Bretton and Westwood.
Items stolen include a sat nav, money, sweets, school bags and sunglasses.

Hide AdAmanda Large, crime prevention officer in Peterborough, said: “Please make sure your vehicles are always locked and secured and there are no valuables on display. It’s also worth investing in a driveway alarm which will activate internally when an intruder enters the driveway/garden.
