Nine men have been charged following drug raids in Peterborough yesterday, Thursday August 18.

Seven were charged with conspiracy to supply controlled class A drugs and refused bail. They are currently at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court this afternoon. They are Michael Flash, Kevin Overall, Stephen Marriott, Ijlaal Saeed, Darren Chambers, Imran Qureshi and Alvis Sturmanis.

Two further arrests were made following the drug busts at addresses across the city at 8am yesterday morning.

Vickram Virdee and Abdul Khan were processed at Thorpe Wood Police Station and charged with possession with intent to supply and refused bail and are also at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today.

Three further people arrested yesterday were bailed for further enquiries.
