Two women arrested after man loses eye in attack in Skegness pub

Two women have been arrested after a man lost his eye having been glassed in a Skegness pub.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and a 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault.

The incident occurred in the Marine Boathouse pub in Lumley Road just after 11pm on Saturday February 25.

The 30 year-old victim was assaulted with a glass causing a severe eye injury. The man was treated at Boston Pilgrim Hospital but his eye could not be saved.
