Two remain in hospital following Peterborough collision involving cyclist and quad bike

Two people remain in hospital following a collision involving a cyclist and a quad bike on Lincoln Road last week.

The collision happened on Thursday evening in Millfield. At about 4.20pm officers and paramedics attended the incident involving a Yamaha quad bike, a pedal cycle, a Toyota Prius and a Renault Scenic.

The quad bike rider, a 27-year-old man, was taken to Peterborough City Hospital where he was described as being in a serious condition.

The cyclist, an 18-year-old man, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he was said to be in a critical condition.

Today (Monday) a police spokesman said both men remained in hospital.

The drivers of the cars remained at the scene and were not injured.
