Two Londoners found in Peterborough 'seeing their mates' fined for breaching lockdown rules
Two people from London have been fined after being caught breaching lockdown rules in Peterborough.

On Saturday Cambridgeshire police said they stopped the two people in the city.
A police spokesman said: "Officers today on patrol stopped two people following reports of suspicious activity. Upon stopping these two people and engaging with them they advised the officer they were from London. When asked why they were in Peterborough they advised they were here to 'see their mates'...
"This is not a reason to be out during Tier 5 and not acceptable. Two fines issued and strong words of advice given before sending them on their way home."
