Three teenagers charged after robberies in Peterborough

Three teenage boys have been charged after a series of robberies in Peterborough.

The teenagers, all from the city, two aged 16 and one 15, allegedly carried out the robberies between May 3 and 8.

All three face:

- One charge of robbery in relation to an incident at the International shop in Fitzwilliam Street, Peterborough, on May 3

- One charge of robbery in relation to an incident at AA News, in Everdon Way, Westwood, Peterborough, on May 8

- One of the 16-year-old boys is also charged with possessing a knife on May 8, while the 15-year-old boy faces a charge of possessing class B drugs on the same date.

The boys, who can’t be named for legal reasons, face their first hearing in relation to the case at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on July 21.
